10 Album Thingamabob Day 3: The Raconteurs "Broken Boy Soldiers"

I had no context for almost any of the artists in The Raconteurs before I heard "Steady As She Goes" on the radio, even though it was considered an "indie supergroup" by someone somewhere. (I knew “Seven Nation Army” by the White Stripes, I guess.) Their songs are often weird, but man do they rock. I saw them at Terminal 5 with Jamshid and was blown away by how powerful a live show they put on.

It's like a masterclass in inventive songwriting structure and lyricism.
